KCT TACTICAL LIFESAVER 1

5 to 6hrs of instruction (3hr block of instruction, 1hr lunch, 2-3hr block of instruction)

This course was designed by taking lessons learned in combat and the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) (The Military golden standard for casualty care) and combining them into a course for civilians. Using just an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) the average civilian will learn to recognize life-threatening injuries, assess a patient, apply lifesaving interventions, and prepare the injured for transportation. These skills will allow you to respond to various situations ranging from everyday emergencies at home with the family to a vehicle accident to an active shooter situation. The medical procedures learned in this course will provide the training needed to save and sustain someone’s life while decreasing preventable deaths until EMS can arrive.
